ESD Grounding gTool Codex plug - socket type G (ESDP-01G)
ESD Grounding gTool Codex plug - socket type G (ESDP-01G) is the main module grounding for ESD protection is necessary to work with all products of the brand ESD gTool. Simply plug in to an electrical outlet and then apply a magnetic cable to connect to the mat and grounding ring. All connectors are certified by the leader of the anti-static technology - Vodex, UK

Specification:
The plug fits directly in to the mains supply socket, connecting with only the earth conductor. Live and Neutral pins have been molded in insulating plastic, fitting into the supply socket but completely dormant.
At the front of the plug there is magnetic connector linked via 1M Ohm resistors to the earth pin, inside the plug. The connectors offer a link to ground for connecting gTool equipment and protection in the event the workstation becomes live. That protection would limit the current to less than 0.3mA at 240 volts. Should the fault current continue the resistor will open circuit.
How to use ?
Insert the plug into the supply socket making sure it is fully home, then connect the various gTool elements t it...such as wrist strap cord, bench or discharge ring. This ensures that the product is at the same earth potential.

The plug must only be used for ESD control purposes.
