ChimeraTool Professional - 1-Year License is intended for individuals who perform a limited number of repairs up to 100 devices per year. What can you do with Chimera?

IMEI Repair

Restores the original IMEI/MEID number of the device. If it’s been damaged or erased, this function allows recovery only on supported models. In some cases, credits (CRD) may be required.

MAC Repair

Restores the original MAC address (Wi‑Fi/Ethernet) of the device if it has been lost or changed. Requires ADB mode.

Patch Certificate

Patches the phone’s certificate which is tied to IMEI and hardware identifiers. Requires a prior IMEI repair or Write Cert. Works in ADB mode.

Reset FRP Lock / FRP Remove

Removes Factory Reset Protection (FRP) from Android devices. Supports multiple brands such as Samsung, Huawei, and LG, with various methods and potential CRD cost depending on the model.

Network Factory Reset

Performs a factory reset of network-related settings, resolving issues with carrier services or SIM recognition. Executed in ADB mode. May require credits.

Read Codes Online

Reads unlock or freeze codes from the device remotely, often used for SIM unlocking. Requires the device to be in ADB mode. May consume credits.

SW Change (Software Change)

Allows updating, downgrading, or repairing device firmware. Supported on brands like Samsung, LG, Nokia, and BlackBerry. Can be done in Download or Normal mode.

Unlock / Relock Bootloader

Unlocks or relocks the device’s bootloader, enabling or disabling installation of custom firmware.

CSC Change

Changes the Country Specific Code (CSC) of the device, which controls regional settings and can enable additional features such as call recording or VoLTE.

Device Info

Displays key device data: IMEI, serial number, firmware version, lock status, hardware info, and more. Works in both Download and ADB modes.

Read Certificate

Reads the device certificate that contains IMEI, serial number, and network identifiers. Can be used for backup or transfer to another device.

Write Certificate

Writes a previously backed-up certificate back to the device. Commonly used during IMEI repair or motherboard replacement.

Store / Restore Backup

Creates and restores backup of calibration and security data from the device. Essential in case of service errors or for restoring functionality after failed operations.

Hazards for children:

3. Electrical Hazards
* Connect only to a socket with the appropriate voltage, in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements.
* Improper handling of products powered by mains voltage may result in fatal electric shock! If the product and/or the connection cable are damaged, do not touch them; there is a risk of fatal electric shock! Never use the device if the power cord is damaged, frayed, or cut. Avoid touching the power cord or plug with wet hands.
* Product with a separate power supply: before connecting the device to a plug-in or external power supply, ensure that the voltage, polarity (plus/+ and minus/-), and plug dimensions (e.g., inner/outer diameter) match the device.
* Product with a mains plug: the power outlet used for connection must be located near the product and easily accessible. Always unplug the power cord by pulling the plug, not the cable.
* Product with a power cord: the power cable must not be pinched, bent, or damaged by sharp edges. Do not place any objects on the power cord or step on it. The cable should always be arranged carefully to prevent tripping.
* Product intended for soldering: use only appropriate electronic solder and an electronic soldering iron. The soldering process should be performed quickly to avoid overheating and possible damage to the product.

4. Usage Precautions

* Place the product on a stable, flat surface to prevent it from tipping over.
* Always maintain sufficient space around the device (as recommended by the manufacturer) to ensure proper ventilation.
* The operation of certain products (e.g., machines or tools) requires the use of personal protective equipment to minimize health or other risks. This includes, for example, suitable hearing protection, an appropriate respirator/dust mask, or safety goggles, as well as proper gloves, safety footwear, and clothing.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

* Improper cleaning agents may not only damage the product but also cause other hazards — follow the manufacturer’s guidelines.
