reSTART Adapter for XPIN Clip
reSTART Adapter for XPIN Clip is used to restart phone with Android after a certain number of attempts to enter the code. Many Samsung Galaxy with a standard TouchWiz overlay has a bug, which cause jams of interface after approx. 25-50 entered codes which prevents the correct bruteforce attack on the PIN. Solution for this is restart phone after 10-20 codes. The adapter can also be used to reset the counter on Android phones 6.x.x, after entering the 10 codes, where each new code can be entered only after 30 seconds. Running phone again, we can again enter 10 codes (including the 30 seconds between successive 5 codes), so that the attack on the 4 pin code can be reduced from approximately 84 hours (120 codes per hour) to 24 hours (420 codes) take into account the average time to start a phone .

Adapter connected to XPIN Clip
Instruction:
1. Connect the reSTART adapter with IDC 26 cable to XPIN clip, then connect the 5V power supply to the mini USB (use charger with min. 1A), connect the power supply to XPIN Clip (USB B).
2. Select Android PIN and then the submenu "RESTART" which one of the 4 possible variants (5, 10, 15, 20 ATTEMPTS) - the amount of codes after which adapter will perform restart procedure.
3. Adjust the angle of the pressing arm to POWER button on the phone - to do so, in the submenu select the ANGLE and set the appropriate value (arm should be perpendicular to the Power button on the phone), then you should remove the arm by 5 degrees (5 DEG) button down and confirm the setting by pressing the SET button. For most mobile setting will be between 80 to 90 degrees, ie. from 80 DEG to 90 DEG in Menu.
4. Install the phone in the holder - check if the height of the POWER button on the phone is in the middle of the arm, if not, make adjustment by moving the phone up and down in the holder.
5. Attach the handle with your phone to the platform so that the POWER button phone was located approximately 1 mm from the shoulder. Click the SET button in the menu ANGLE and press the directional up button (one click is a movement of 5 degrees) to check if the arm clicked the POWER button on the phone. If the phone is out of range of the arm move holder closer.
6. Connect XPIN Clip with your phone using Charging cable (black one from standard set). Don't use 4in1 XPIN cable for reSTART adapter since it can cause problems.
7. Place the light sensor on the phone and make other settings (SENSOR, TIMING, RANGE, etc.)
8. Press the START button to begin the procedure attack on the PIN code.
