Pattern Adapter for XPIN Clip is additional adapter, which allows you to read patternlock of any length (from 4 to 9 points) on Android smartphones supported by XPIN Clip. Adapter allows also to configure the length and parameters of the patternlock so start point, end point as also exclude long pairs - all of those can be generated on http://xpinclip.com
Features:
- possibility to work with codes from 4 to 9 dots (as a standard XPIN support up to 5 dots from Pattern lock)
- possibility to configure start code and end code point
- possibility to exclude long pairs that are rarely used as 1 and 6 or 2 and 7 etc.
- possibility to copnnect adapters in chain when others adapters are available
Time of BG attack with diffrent combinations of codes: (approxiamlly 470 codes per hour)
(attack type, available codes to try, maximal time for attack)
4 dots with all combinations, 1624 combinations, maximal time around 3 h 30 min.
4 dots without long pairs, 648 combinations, maximal time around 1 h 20 min.
5 dots with all combinations, 7152 combinations, maximal time around 15 h 10 min.
5 dots without long pairs, 2040 combinations, maximal time around 4 h 20 min.
6 dots with all combinations, 26016 combinations, maximal time around 55 h 30 min.
6 dots without long pairs, 5248 combinations, maximal time around 11 h 10 min.
7 dots with all combinations, 72912 combinations, maximal time around 155 h 10 min.
7 dots without long pairs, 10448 combinations, maximal time around 22 h 20 min.

How to use the adapter?
1. Go to xpinclip.com and choose "PATH GENERATOR" subpage
2. Define the length and parameters of the patternlock
3. Enter the serial number of the pattern adapter that is located on the housing
4. Click "Generate & Download"
5. Now will be generate csv file with a list of selected patterns
6. Save file to a microSD card (card not included)
7. Insert microSD card to pattern adapter sd card slot
8. Connect the adapter to XPIN Clip-a (exstatnion connector port)
9. Select in menu options "PATTERN" and then "PATHS SD"
10. Set other parameters such as "SENSOR", "CURSOR", "SHIFT", etc.
11. Press RUN button to start the process
NOTE Cursor should be set on dots that we chose as the starting position
