For about more than 15 years I worked with this Lamp (difference = old lamp had a starter and an transmitter). This lamp is drect powered (240 Volts) and is electronicly stardet (no Starter needed). Thats better. Mechanic: very good. I bought this Lamp because I now her from the past and I can use all optics from the other Lamp. I also use the moutings from the old Lamp (Wallmountig, Surface mounting)
