JTAG for Samsung Galaxy Mega 6,3" (i9200/i9205) adapter it's special PCB with mounted pins to allow for repair boot inGalaxy Mega phones without any soldering to PCB using JTAG devices as Medusa JTAG. So it's great time to have all before starts.
Supported phones: Samsung Galaxy Mega 6,3" (i9200/i9205), Galaxy ATIV S i8750
Compatible with: Omnia Repair Tool (ORT), JRT SMTI, Riff JTAG, Medusa JTAG, GPG JTAG, Easy Z3x JTAG, GPG eMMC, OctoPlus and other devices using JTAG and supporting CPU used in this phone and supporting CPU used in this phone.
Signal IN/OUT: GND, TRST, TDI, TMS, TDO, TCK, RTCK, NRST, VREF
Information for ORT (Omina Repair Tool), Medusa, OctoPlus users
JTAG adapter has outputted VREF line, that is not connected. If you are using devices that requires VREF (see above), on adapter PCB, line marked as VREF need to be join. The join must be removed when adapter will be connecting to devices that not use VREF!
CAUTION:
TO OUR ADAPTER YOU CAN CONNECT ANY PINOUT OF JTAG DEVICE USING GOLD PINS BUT IT'S ALSO EQUIPED WITH DIRECT TAPE CONNECTION OF JTAG TOOLS AS OMNIA REPAIR TOOL, TRACE32, HITAG - YOU DON'T NEED TO SOLDER ANYTHING - JUST CONNECT TAPE TO ADAPTER (1 DOT ARE FIRST LINE - RED ON TAPE FROM OMNIA REPAIR TOOL)
NOKOUT:
Adapter need to connect to molex connector on phone board - in 90% of cases PCB don't have this connector installed so you need to solder as shown on picture, special 12 pin molex into it. It's quite simple and for sure simpler that soldering wires - after this you can install JTAG adapter to repair as shown on video. You can buy additional molex connectors in future also
