VAS 50512 "2x2" Adapter for Older C This adaptor connects between the 2x2 port in older (1990-1995 pre-OBDI) vehicles to the OBDII connector used for current generation diagnostic tools.
These are exactly the same as VW's VAS-5051/2 adapter. I
The old "2x2" Diagnostic Data Link Connection looks like this:
Volkswagen models often have it under the shift-boot or somewhere in the dash.
Audis often have it in a fuse/relay box under the hood, or in the passenger's footwell under the carpets.
