Simulator resistance sensors potentiometer SCR-3V In modern engines coolant temperature sensor, and in a few cases also sensor of oil temperature has very important function.
Description:
It gives to the engine information, for instance whether engine has working temperature or is warming up. That information determine working of the injection system. That is why it is important that circuit of coolant (oil) temperature sensor worked correctly. Very often mechanics check only resistance of the sensor along for equivalent temperatures. That checking isn't sufficient for in some cases although the sensor is efficient, the controller receives false signal. It may be caused by too big circuit resistance, short circuit or failure of the controller itself.
