Test JIG 8210/8250 is a device used to help diagnose problems in mobile phones. Without one, usually repairers have to guess what part is incorrect, as it is difficult to get access to the PCB with the battery connected & also the interface to the PC. With a test jig you have easy access to the phones PCB, so you can follow the Nokia service manual in troubleshoot - just as they intended. You can follow step-by step instructions, and you can quickly localise the fault, by testing the voltages & clock signals.
