Data recovery from SSD drives (SATA, NVMe, USB) is a service involving data recovery from devices based on semiconductor memories that do not have moving parts. Depending on the type of damage, we use techniques of both direct reading from NAND memory (older drives with BCH error correction) and using the technological mode. Modern SDD drives have advanced error correction systems as well as encryption at the hardware level, and the only way to recover data is to use the technological mode. We recover data from logically, electronically and mechanically damaged media.

We are also in a data-connected state using the ChipOFF method with access to those used in the case of USB memory sticks or SD/MicroSD cards, when accessing an alternative device via Rusolut VNR, Flash-Extractor or PC3000-Flash.

SDD disks usually fail suddenly, preventing the user from accessing the data. Most often, this is caused by a problem with the controller's internal software or damage to the disk's electronic components. Due to the use of high-density TLC/QLC memory in modern disks, memory cells are also damaged and cannot be corrected by the error correction system built into the disk controller.

The causes of damage can be divided into:
Logical - voltage surges, sudden power disconnection, resulting in damage to the file structure
Logical - accidental deletion or formatting
Physical NAND memories - too many damaged cells making error correction impossible
Physical controller - its failure or firmware error
Electronic - damage to electronic components (resistors, capacitors, transistors, etc.) on the disk PCB
Mechanical - flooding, overheating (due to too high temperature, e.g. fire), cracks or breaks

Question: How long does data recovery take?

Answer: We try to make the data recovery time as short as possible - the standard time is 28 days, excluding the time to deliver the media to our data lab. We also offer the option of choosing: in the accelerated version, the recovery time is 14 business days and in the Express version, it is 7 days from the moment the shipment reaches our data lab. In the case of the Express/Super Express option, payment is charged for readiness to recover data (skipping the waiting queue) and is not related to the final effect.
